Easy Appointment Scheduling

Booking an appointment with MedxVerse is quick and convenient. Whether you need to see a general practitioner or a specialist, you can schedule your consultation in just a few taps.

Step-by-Step Booking Guide

  • Open the MedxVerse App: Log into your account and tap on the Book Appointment button on the home screen.
  • Select Consultation Type: Choose between video consultation, audio call, or chat-based consultation based on your preference and needs.
  • Choose Your Doctor: Browse doctors by specialty, or search for a specific doctor by name. View doctor profiles including qualifications, experience, ratings, and consultation fees.
  • Select Date and Time: View the doctors available time slots and select one that works for you. Available slots are shown in your local time zone (WAT).
  • Describe Your Symptoms: Provide a brief description of your health concern. This helps the doctor prepare for your consultation.
  • Confirm and Pay: Review your appointment details and proceed to payment. Once payment is confirmed, your appointment is booked.
  • Receive Confirmation: You will receive an SMS and email confirmation with your appointment details and a reminder before your consultation.

Appointment Types

  • Video Call: Conditions requiring visual examination – 15-30 min – From ₦5,000
  • Audio Call: Follow-ups and general consultations – 15-30 min – From ₦5,000
  • Chat: Quick questions and prescription renewals – Varies – From ₦5,000

Managing Your Appointments

  • Viewing Your Appointments: Access all your appointments by tapping My Appointments in the app. See upcoming, past, and cancelled bookings.
  • Rescheduling an Appointment: Select the appointment, tap Reschedule, and choose a new available time slot. Free if done at least 2 hours before.
  • Cancelling an Appointment: Tap Cancel on your appointment. Cancellations at least 2 hours in advance qualify for a full refund or credit. Late cancellations may incur a fee.

Appointment Reminders

  • 24-Hour Reminder: Sent one day before your scheduled appointment.
  • 1-Hour Reminder: Sent one hour before your consultation.
  • 15-Minute Reminder: Sent when its time to join your consultation.

Preparing for Your Appointment

  • Join Early: Enter the consultation room 5 minutes before your scheduled time to test your audio and video.
  • Have Your Phone Charged: Ensure your device has sufficient battery or is connected to a charger.
  • Prepare Questions: Write down any questions you want to ask the doctor.
  • Gather Documents: Have your ID, insurance card, and any relevant medical reports ready.
